Chocolate Waffle Batter

Chocolate Waffles

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk or whole milk

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.

Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients, whisking all the while. Fold in the chocolate chips. Cook on a seasoned and pre-heated waffle iron.
