This Thai-inspired glaze is great on any seafood or meat dish...perfectly balanced combination of sweet and spicy!
- 2 ounces sugar 1 teaspoon Sambal chili garlic sauce 1 teaspoon fish sauce 1 teaspoon soy sauce
In a sauce pan melt the sugar over low heat until it becomes an amber color
While the sugar is melting, in a separate sauce pan whisk together the remaining ingredients over low heat
Whisk the sambal, fish and soy sauce mixture into the melted sugar, once combined strain through a china cap and set to the side for later use.
